Prior to working at Partners in Change, Katie worked as a therapist with the Saginaw Chippewa Indian Tribe in Mt. Pleasant, MI. Katie’s clinical experience includes trauma related disorders, panic and anxiety related disorders, depression, personality disorders, and interpersonal relationship issues. Katie approaches therapy through a person-centered model that emphasizes personal strengths and self-compassion. Her approach includes exploring challenging aspects of self and collaboratively finding new/more beneficial ways of thinking, feeling, and behaving that are more aligned with an individual’s personal values.
