EMDR Therapy Training
EMDR therapy is an evidence-based treatment for children, adolescents, and adults. More than 1,000 research studies support the effectiveness of EMDR in treating PTSD, anxiety, depression, panic disorders, OCD, and other mental health concerns.
EMDR therapy is recognized and endorsed by leading organizations, including the World Health Organization, the American Psychiatric Association, the American Psychological Association, the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, and other national and international organizations as an effective treatment for trauma and related conditions.

Fees

EMDR Therapy Training: $1,496.00

Continuing Education Credits (CEUs): Approval through NASW is currently pending.
Payment is due upon registration and may be made via our website (check out as guest) or by mail (USPS).
Cancellation, No-Show, Rescheduling, and Refund Policy
Cancellations are eligible for a full refund, less a 3% processing fee, provided the cancellation request is submitted in writing to dlscott@midmichpsych.com at least seven (7) days prior to the start date of Part One of the training.
EMDR Basic Training is considered a single training program delivered in two parts. Participants are expected to attend both Part One and Part Two on the scheduled dates. Please ensure your availability for all training dates prior to registering.
Requests to reschedule participation must be submitted in writing at least seven (7) days prior to the start date of Part One. Rescheduling requests received after this deadline cannot be guaranteed and will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. In the event of an unexpected emergency, participants may submit a written request for consideration. Approved rescheduling requests may require supporting documentation and may be subject to additional administrative fees.
No refunds or partial refunds will be issued once the training has begun.
Participants who fail to attend any portion of the training without prior communication (“no-show”) will forfeit all registration fees, be removed from the training program, and will be required to pay the full registration fee to enroll in a future training.
Partners in Change reserves the right to cancel, postpone, or reschedule a training due to insufficient enrollment, instructor illness, severe weather, or other unforeseen circumstances. In the event that a training is canceled by Partners in Change, participants will be offered the option to transfer their registration to a future training date or receive a full refund of all registration fees paid. Partners in Change is not responsible for non-refundable travel, lodging, or other expenses incurred by participants.
About your Trainer
Deanna Scott, LPC, CAADC, is an EMDRIA Approved Trainer and Consultant, having completed EMDR basic training in 2006. She has extensive experience treating children, adolescents, and adults using EMDR, working with a wide range of diagnoses and populations, including substance use disorders, trauma, depression, anxiety, OCD, ADHD, attachment wounds, and severe and persistent mental illness. Deanna has been providing clinical supervision for over 15 years, supporting clinicians in navigating the challenges of the therapy profession.

Ready to Start EMDR Therapy Training?

This training is intended for licensed or pre-licensed counselors and therapists who work directly with clients. Graduate students in a licensure track mental health-related degree program are also eligible if practicing under a licensed supervisor within the practicum or internship phase of their program. Documentation shall be submitted during registration.

No previous EMDR experience is necessary.

Participants must be available for all training days as they cannot be rescheduled.

Training Requirements
To receive documentation of completion for the EMDRIA Approved EMDR Basic Training, participants must successfully complete:

Part 1 of the training

Part 2 of the training

Ten (10) hours of consultation
All requirements must be completed within twelve (12) months of the initial training start date.
Training Hours & Cost
EMDRIA Approved EMDR Basic Training consists of:

40 hours of instruction and practicum
-
10 hours of consultation
Total training time: 50 hours
The total cost of training, including all consultation hours and 40 CE credits through NASW, is $1,495.
Consultation Schedule
Consultation sessions are conducted virtually and include:

Five (5) hours between Part 1 and Part 2
-
Five (5) hours following completion of Part 2
