Carrie graduated with her MSW from Michigan State University and her Bachelors in Liberal Studies and Public Agency Service from Northern Arizona University.  Carrie has 23 years of experience working in Community-Based Services and is dedicated to assisting individuals find healing, develop personal empowerment and recovery.  Carrie’s approach as a therapist is person-centered, compassionate, psychodynamic, eclectic, and solution-focused. Carrie has worked in a variety of settings, including a domestic violence and homeless shelter, a dual-diagnosis substance abuse treatment center for women, and she received her clinical experience working for Community Mental Health.  Carrie has worked closely with individuals experiencing mental health disorders, including:  depression, anxiety, schizophrenia, bipolar, adjustment disorders, personality disorders, substance use disorders, trauma, and PTSD.  She emphasizes a strong focus on the overall health and wellness of the individual, mind, body, and spirit and a sensitivity for the experience of being human.

In her free time, Carrie enjoys gardening, walking and yoga, painting, spending time outdoors, reading, and hanging out with her family and pets.
