Professional Information:
Tom is a licensed clinical psychologist and co-owner of Partners in Change along with his wife, Dr. Ann Date. Tom has consulted to Michigan Department of Corrections, mental health agencies, and schools. He is adjunct faculty at Central Michigan University and Michigan State University. He has written treatment protocols that have been used in state prisons, trained clinicians statewide, and evaluated treatment and education programs for substance abusing adult offenders. He collaborates with court systems in the treatment of adjudicated adolescents and their families. He conducts competency to stand trial for juvenile offenders. He trains, mentors, and supervises clinicians, CMU clinical psychology doctoral students, and MSU medical students.
