Professional Information:
Prior to earning her MSW, Ann-Marie obtained her Bachelor’s degree in social work as well as her Master’s degree in Public Policy from Michigan State University, and worked at Mott Community College in Flint as a case manager for individuals with disabilities as well as the ADA/504 coordinator. Ann-Marie is fluent in American Sign Language, and is able to provide direct therapy to Deaf individuals seeking mental health treatment. She has broad and varied clinical experience that includes mental health crisis, group and individual sex offender treatment, and individual therapy with adults with severe mental illness and co-occurring disorders. Her interests include working with youth involved in the juvenile justice system and their families, as well as teenagers and adults struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, pre and postpartum issues, substance abuse, and those who have experienced interpersonal/relationship violence.
Personal Information:
When not at work, she makes attempts at being a knitter and quilter, and loves spending time playing board games with her family and friends.
