Prior to working with Partners in Change, Alyssa worked with Genesee Health System as a clinical therapist for ages 0-6. She completed an internship with Head Start for her Master’s degree. Alyssa’s clinical experience includes trauma, ADHD/ADD, anxiety-related disorders, depression, fostered youth, and case management. Alyssa uses Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy approaches to therapy and tailors treatment to the client’s individual needs. Alyssa currently provides outpatient therapy. Alyssa has a special interest in working with youth, adolescents, and with the LGBTQ+ community.
Personal Information:
Outside of the therapeutic setting, Alyssa enjoys spending time with family, crafting, and unwinding with a good game session on the Nintendo Switch.
